A habitat cluster for migratory, rare and endangered species planted adjacent a farm dam on Kooringle in 2010 and a follow up photo of the enclosed site some seven years later. The trees planted included Eucalypts (White box, Yellow Box and Grey box) and Casuarinas (River She Oak), and the shrubs Acacias, Bursaria and Grevillea. The enclosed site has been grazed once in the seven year period to reduce the grass understory and fire risk. It now forms part of a cross property habitat connectivity initiative by Hovells Creek Landcare Group members.
